Frequently Asked Questions

Can we bring in food?

No outside food provided by a caterer or restaurant may be brought into the waterpark.  No glass containers or alcoholic beverages are permitted.  Small personal cooler no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” will be permitted free of charge, larger coolers will be assessed a $5.00 fee.  Coolers will be inspected at the waterpark entrance.  Food and drinks are available for purchase at the concession stand.  Meal packages are available at affordable prices for groups.  

Do you have lifejackets and do you allow outside floatation devices and toys?

Lifejackets are provided free of charge on a first come, first serve basis.  Guests are welcome to bring their own US Coast Guard approved lifejackets.  Water wings are not permitted.  Tubes are provided free of charge for the slides and lazy river.  Outside floatation devices, rafts and large water guns are not permitted.

Do you have lockers?

Lockers are available for rent at the retail shop.  Locker rental is $4.00.  A driver’s license or keys are required to be left for a deposit until the key is returned.  Please secure your valuables.  Bahama Beach is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Where is the First Aid station?

A First Aid station is located between the restrooms for our guest’s comfort and convenience.  All lifeguards at Bahama Beach Waterpark are trained in CPR and First Aid.

Can I have my birthday party at the waterpark?

Bahama Beach Waterpark offers packages that make planning your child’s birthday party a breeze.  Package includes a reserved picnic table in a covered area, a cake, a hotdog, chips and drink for each person attending the party and a special gift for the birthday child.  The birthday package price is $75.00 plus $9.99 per person.

Can I reserve seating at the waterpark?

Reserved seating is available for individuals and groups at an additional charge.  Reserved seating rentals for groups must be paid prior to the date of your event.  Private cabanas are also available for rental.  Cabanas are perfect for families or as a headquarters location for your group.

Is the waterpark available for rent?

The waterpark is available for exclusive rental for your group outside of normal operating hours.  Rental reservations must be made a minimum of ten (10) working days in advance of requested date. 

What forms of payment do you accept?

Bahama Beach accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard or corporate check.

Do you give refunds?

Tickets are non-refundable.  Refunds for reserved seating rentals and park rentals will be processed with at least ten (10) days written notification, less a 10% processing fee. 

Do you give rain checks?

In the event of lightning, thunder, heavy rain or high wind, Bahama Beach may temporarily suspend operations until weather conditions improve.  If Bahama Beach interrupts operations for 60 minutes or more (up to two hours prior to the posted closing time), guests may exchange their valid receipt/ticket stub for a rain check.  Rain checks are valid for any day during the current general operating season.  Guests must be present in the park to receive a rain check.  No refunds or early rain checks will be issued. 

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is free at Bahama Beach Waterpark.  The parking lot fills quickly on busy days.  Overflow parking is available to the West of the waterpark next to the football field.  Please lock your car and secure all valuables out of sight.

What are the waterpark rules?

For the safety of enjoyment of all guests at Bahama Beach Waterpark, everyone is asked to adhere to the following code of conduct.

 

Code of Conduct

All guests at Bahama Beach Waterpark are asked to adhere to the following rules:

All guests must pay the price of admission or have a current season pass.

Proper swimwear is required.  No revealing swimwear or denim clothing is permitted. T-shirts are not permitted on body slides.  Only spandex, lycra or rash guard type shirts may be worn on body slides.  For the safety of our guests, swim diapers are required, regular diapers are prohibited.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a person age 16 or older.

Admission to Bahama Beach may be denied for any of the following reasons:

  • Suspicion that the guest is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Evidence that the guest has a contagious disease
  • Evidence of open wounds

Guest not having the proper swim attire

Abusive or profane language to the guests or Bahama Beach staff is not acceptable. Guests will be asked to leave without refund for using abusive or profane language.

Cigarettes, chewing tobacco, alcoholic beverages, lighters and illegal substances are not allowed inside the facility.

Chewing gum is not permitted.

Outside food and beverages are allowed with the exception of glass containers. Coolers are subject to search.

Running, dunking, riding on shoulders, fighting, rough play, pushing and shoving, excessive splashing or towel popping is not allowed.

Diving of any type is prohibited.

Loitering is not permitted in and around the facility, including the parking lot.

Outside floating devices, water wings, large water guns, snorkels and masks are prohibited.
Only employees are permitted in the office, filter area, mechanical room and storage areas.

Animals are prohibited in the pool area unless used for medical reasons.
Guests may not sit or hang on lifeguard stands.  Communication with on duty lifeguards should be limited to emergencies or if help is needed.  All other questions or concerns can be answered at the park office.

All guests must obey the rules and regulations listed above and follow the instructions of Water Safety Staff and other Bahama Beach employees.

Bahama Beach reserves the right to eject and suspend any person from the property for violation of facility rules or for any other action detrimental to the safe and orderly operation of the facility.  In case of serious violations, the Dallas Police Department will be called.
